The Reverse Vee Quad is was made to set you up in sizable surf. The board features a Vee in the nose to provide curve in the rail (lift) while breaking through the chop. The Vee then folds together into flat under your chest and front foot, into slight double through the fins, and then lifts out the back. This board has plenty of paddling volume and and crisp edges for release.
The quad fins are a McKee formula, set up by the Australian shaper, Bruce McKee. This configuration basically splits the thruster fin trailer in two and moves it up. You get the drive of a quad with out the tracky feeling, and no drag of a thruster trailer. Think speed with nice arced turns.
