Bottom shape consists of panel “V” in the back 2⁄3 's of the board that blends to a shallow hull under the nose, just enough to offer more controlled trim at higher speeds. Relatively neutral, even rocker offers easy paddling, allows you get into the wave early and easily put the board on rail. I generally take this out when I want to catch as many waves as possible with minimal effort. Go to for when it’s a bit too powerful for your log but not quite enough to paddle out your shortboard. Can also be used to charge the big stuff.
