We are very pleased to present an evening with Marc Andreini and his new book "The Gift" this Saturday May 12th.

The Gift is a collage of stories which covers the entire arc of the evolution of the surfboard: from its origins in Hawaii to the modern world. It promises to take you on a journey that parallels and sometime collides with the surfboard industry. Along the way Andreini details what he has learned from the ancient Hawaiians, Tom Blake, Bob Simmons, George Greenough, and the innovators and madmen of surfing.
