"Santa Barbara Surfboard Roots" is an installation put together by Kirk Putnam from Jesse Macnamara's personal collection of boards. Every piece in the show was made in the Santa Barbara area between 1959 and 1972. These artifacts are from the shops and shapers who started the surfboard industry in Santa Barbara.

To celebrate the opening of the installation, our Santa Barbara shop will also be hosting a board swap. Join us opening day on Saturday, February 18th for an in-depth look at Santa Barbara history and an exchange of sticks.
