Sage Vaughn has been a long time friend of the shop... Back when the Venice store opened the area was definitely a bit rougher than it is now. To help us with this, Sage built a weapon to help scare off some of the gnarlier dudes that were hanging around at the time. It was a big wooden bat with old, jagged nails hammered through the tip. This was toted proudly behind the register. Sage has teamed up with another pal of the shop, Rob Machado, to bring LA a collaborative exhibit showcasing surfboards, art, and photography created by these two talented gentlemen.
